Burn Permit Application

Apply for a burn permit.

All burning in Payette requires a permit. During a burn ban (July 1 – October 1) only recreational fires are allowed.

Submitting this recreational fire permit authorizes you to burn in a fire pit. No burn barrels allowed. Please remember to burn responsibly and safely. During a burn ban, only recreational fires are permitted.

Type of permit

Recreational fire: a covered backyard fire pit, good for up to 90 days. To keep burning after that, you'll need to resubmit a permit.

Natural vegetation only. Burn barrels and household trash are prohibited — no exceptions.
